Hello readers, if you’re out there!

I started blog site to work out which direction I wanted to go in my personal writing. What I’ve found, is that I need this space to talk about raising an autistic girl. Studies are finally being done into how the female autistic brain works but there is still a long way to go. Friends and family are shocked when I say she has been diagnosed because she is an excellent masker! (I’ll go into that in more detail on a blog post one day!)

We live together in a lovely community in Manchester and feel lucky every day to have what we have. She is happy and thriving. Her little brother thinks she is the best thing ever. And so do we!
